Fiber Compounds

Raw materials based on renewable resources

The raw materials

To conserve resources, we use natural fibers and fillers. The proportion of natural fibers in the matrix ranges from 10% to 50%. Possible fibers: wood flour, cellulose fibers, raw cellulose, hemp or flax fibers, ground kernels such as olive pits, and others.

Wood flour

Well known as wood-plastic composite, ground wood fibers can be used in different qualities. The appearance can be influenced by selecting the particle size.

We use wood particles ranging in size from 60 µm to 1000 µm.

The wood fibers used are FSC or PEFC certified.

Cellulose

Cellulose fibers are produced from renewable raw materials. They are very well suited as fillers for compounds.

Since the natural color of cellulose is raw

The fiber is listed as a material in the positive list for food contact. Corresponding compounds can obtain food contact approval. This type is also very well suited for toys.

Hemp

Due to the versatile usability of the hemp plant, its cultivation in Europe is steadily increasing. Only special low-THC varieties are used for industrial applications. Different qualities can be used as fillers and reinforcing fibers in compounds from the different utilization lines of the hemp plant.
